Do not ship a radio, battery, accessory, or other product to Talk2Me until you receive return authorization and shipping instructions through an active support ticket.
The approved address, items to include, packaging requirements, and shipping responsibilities may vary depending on whether the request involves a standard return, warranty inspection, repair, damaged shipment, defective accessory, TikTok Shop purchase, or another approved service request.
Do not ship equipment without authorization. Unauthorized shipments may be delayed, refused, misidentified, sent to the wrong location, or returned to the sender.

Request Return Authorization
Before shipping:
- Open the Talk2Me Support Center.
- Select Submit a Ticket.
- Choose Warranty, Returns & Repairs.
- Select the option that best matches the request.
- Provide the order and product information.
- Describe why the equipment needs to be returned.
- Upload photographs or video when requested.
- Wait for Talk2Me to provide authorization and instructions.
The authorization may include:
- Support-ticket number
- Return authorization number
- Approved shipping address
- Equipment that should be included
- Equipment that should not be included
- Packaging instructions
- Return deadline
- Shipping-label information
- Additional documentation requirements
Use Only the Address Provided by Support
Do not ship equipment to:
- An address printed in an older manual
- A return address shown on the original package
- A marketplace seller address
- A Talk2Me office address found through an online search
- A previous warranty or return address
- A cellular-service provider
Use only the shipping address provided for the current support request.
Shipping locations and processing instructions may differ depending on the product and the type of return, repair, or inspection.
Information to Have Ready
Provide:
- Customer name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Return shipping address
- Order number
- Purchase location
- Delivery date
- Product model
- Radio IMEI
- Current username
- SIM ICCID when relevant
- Reason for shipment
- Description of the problem
- Photographs or video
- Existing support-ticket number
Finding and Recording the Radio IMEI
Menu wording varies by model. The IMEI may appear under a path such as:
Menu → Settings → Service Information
It may also appear under:
- IMEI Information
- About
- An IMEI QR code
- A product label
- The original packaging
Record the IMEI before packing the radio.
Do not rely only on a handwritten label, username, or group name when identifying the device.
Determine What to Include
Include only the equipment requested by Talk2Me Support.
Depending on the reported issue, support may request:
- Radio
- Battery
- Charging cable
- Power adapter
- Charging dock
- Hand microphone
- Earpiece
- External antenna
- Vehicle power cable
- Another affected accessory
- Original packaging
- Manuals or inserts
Do not automatically include every accessory from the original purchase.
| Reported issue | Equipment that may be requested |
|---|---|
| Display problem | Radio and battery |
| Charging problem | Radio, battery, charger, cable, power adapter, and dock when applicable |
| Microphone problem | Radio and affected microphone |
| Standard return | Product, original packaging, manuals, inserts, and all included accessories |
Sending unnecessary accessories increases the risk of loss, confusion, or unrelated damage during inspection.
Do Not Include Personal Items
Remove items that were not included with the original product, such as:
- Third-party earpieces
- Memory cards
- Personal charging equipment
- Mounts
- Cases
- Clips purchased elsewhere
- Labels containing private information
- Other unrelated accessories
Talk2Me may not be responsible for unrequested personal items included in the shipment.
Do Not Remove the SIM Unless Instructed
Talk2Me radios normally arrive with the SIM already installed.
Do not remove, transfer, replace, or move the SIM before shipping unless support specifically instructs you to do so.
The installed SIM may be needed to:
- Reproduce the reported problem
- Verify cellular service
- Confirm the ICCID
- Review account assignment
- Test network connectivity
- Configure a replacement radio
When support instructs you to remove the SIM
- Turn the radio completely off.
- Follow the model-specific instructions.
- Place the SIM in a protective holder.
- Label it with the applicable radio IMEI or ticket number.
- Store it securely until further instructions are provided.
Preparing the Radio
Unless Talk2Me provides different instructions:
- Turn the radio completely off.
- Disconnect all cables and accessories.
- Confirm that the battery is secure.
- Remove unrelated personal accessories.
- Record the IMEI.
- Photograph the radio’s condition.
- Photograph any existing damage.
- Include only the requested equipment.
- Protect the radio with sufficient padding.
Do not factory-reset the radio before shipping unless Talk2Me specifically instructs you to do so. A factory reset may remove settings needed to reproduce the reported problem.
Document the Product’s Condition
Before packaging, take clear photographs showing:
- Front of the product
- Back of the product
- Both sides
- Display
- Charging ports
- Antenna and connector
- Battery
- Existing scratches or damage
- Included accessories
- Product serial number or IMEI label when visible
Keep the photographs until the ticket is fully resolved.
These records document what was shipped and its condition at the time of shipment.
Record All Items Included
Create a short packing list.
Example packing list
- One Talk2Me Standard radio
- One battery
- One USB charging cable
- One charging dock
- One power adapter
Include the list in the package when requested and keep a copy for your records.
Do not include passwords, payment information, or unnecessary personal information on the packing list.
Use a Sturdy Outer Shipping Box
Do not ship the product using only its retail box.
The retail product box is designed for presentation and storage and may not provide sufficient protection as the outer shipping container.
Use:
- A sturdy corrugated shipping box
- Sufficient cushioning
- Protective material around each item
- Packaging that prevents movement
- Moisture protection when appropriate
Place the retail box inside a separate outer shipping box when the original packaging must be returned.
Protect the Equipment
Use sufficient padding around:
- Radio
- Display
- Antenna
- Battery
- Charging dock
- Microphone
- Power adapter
- Other accessories
Prevent equipment from moving freely inside the box.
Loose accessories may strike and damage the radio during shipment.
Do not allow metal parts, battery contacts, connectors, or accessories to contact one another in a way that could cause damage or a short circuit.
Protect External Antennas
When an external antenna is included:
- Remove it only when instructed.
- Package it separately from the radio when directed.
- Protect the connector.
- Prevent bending.
- Do not place heavy equipment on top of it.
Do not force or overtighten an antenna before shipment.
Packaging Batteries
Lithium batteries require careful handling.
For an ordinary undamaged removable battery:
- Turn the radio off.
- Follow Talk2Me’s instructions about whether to leave the battery installed.
- Protect exposed battery contacts.
- Prevent movement inside the package.
- Keep the battery away from metal objects.
- Use sufficient cushioning.
Do not place loose batteries in a package where the contacts can touch another battery, cable, connector, or metal object.
Damaged or Swollen Batteries
Do not ship a battery that is swollen, leaking, punctured, crushed, burned, corroded, producing an unusual odor, becoming unusually hot, or showing exposed internal material.
Stop using and charging the battery immediately. Contact Talk2Me Support and describe its exact condition before attempting shipment.
Damaged lithium batteries may be prohibited from ordinary mail or carrier services and may require special disposal or transportation instructions.
Do not conceal battery damage from the shipping carrier.
Charging before shipment
A radio does not normally need to be fully charged before shipment unless Talk2Me requests it.
Do not charge:
- A swollen battery
- A leaking battery
- A battery that becomes unusually hot
- A product with visible liquid damage
- A radio with a damaged charging port
- Equipment that appears unsafe
Tell support when the product cannot be safely charged.
Liquid-Damaged Equipment
When the radio or accessory has been exposed to liquid:
- Turn it off.
- Disconnect the charger.
- Do not continue testing it.
- Do not apply heat.
- Do not place it in rice.
- Do not attempt to charge it.
- Inform Talk2Me before shipping.
Liquid-damaged lithium batteries or electronics may require special handling.
Provide accurate information about the type of liquid and when the exposure occurred.
Include the Ticket or Authorization Number
Follow the instructions provided by Talk2Me.
You may be asked to:
- Write the ticket number on the packing list
- Place a printed authorization inside the box
- Write the authorization number on the outer package
- Include a return form
Do not place passwords, complete payment details, or unnecessary personal information inside the shipment.
Seal the Package Securely
Before sealing the box:
- Confirm that only requested items are included.
- Confirm that every item is protected.
- Confirm that nothing moves freely when the box is gently repositioned.
- Include the required documentation.
- Close the box securely.
- Seal all openings with shipping tape.
- Remove or cover old shipping labels and barcodes.
Do not use string, masking tape, or lightweight household tape as the primary closure.
Use a Trackable Shipping Method
Use a carrier service that provides tracking and delivery confirmation.
Keep:
- Shipping receipt
- Tracking number
- Carrier name
- Shipment date
- Package weight
- Delivery confirmation
- Photographs of the sealed package
- Copy of the shipping label
Reply through the existing support ticket with the tracking number when requested.
Talk2Me cannot inspect equipment that has not been delivered.
Insurance and signature confirmation
For higher-value shipments, consider:
- Carrier insurance
- Signature confirmation
- Additional declared value
- Photographing the packaged equipment
- Retaining proof of shipment
Talk2Me does not automatically reimburse optional shipping services unless they were approved in advance.
Customer Responsibility During Shipment
The customer is generally responsible for the package until it is delivered to the approved Talk2Me location.
Talk2Me may not be responsible for:
- Lost packages
- Packages shipped to the wrong address
- Carrier delays
- Damage caused by inadequate packaging
- Missing items not documented before shipment
- Products shipped without authorization
- Equipment delivered to an unauthorized address
Contact the carrier promptly when tracking shows loss or damage before delivery.
Return shipping costs
- For a standard return, the customer generally pays the cost of shipping the product to Talk2Me.
- For a warranty inspection, the customer generally pays the initial shipping cost.
- When Talk2Me confirms a covered manufacturing defect, Talk2Me pays the cost of shipping the approved repaired or replacement product back to the customer.
- When a claim is denied, no defect is found, or a paid repair is declined, the customer is responsible for return shipping when the equipment is to be sent back.
Verified out-of-box defects
Talk2Me may provide or approve return shipping when it verifies that:
- The product arrived defective.
- The wrong product was shipped.
- The product was damaged during the original delivery.
- The order had a verified fulfillment error.
Do not purchase expedited return shipping with the expectation of reimbursement unless Talk2Me approves it beforehand.
Original shipping charges
Original order-shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
Return-shipping approval does not automatically mean the original shipping charge will be refunded.
Any refund or shipping adjustment is determined after the return is received and reviewed.
Shipping From Outside the United States
Contact Talk2Me before shipping internationally.
International returns may involve:
- Customs documentation
- Duties or taxes
- Carrier restrictions
- Lithium-battery rules
- Import or export requirements
- Additional shipping costs
- Longer transit times
Do not mark the equipment with an inaccurate value or customs description.
The customer may be responsible for international shipping, customs fees, duties, or taxes unless Talk2Me expressly agrees otherwise.
TikTok Shop Returns
Do not ship a TikTok Shop return directly to Talk2Me unless instructed.
TikTok Shop purchases generally must follow the return process provided through:
- The TikTok Shop order page
- The TikTok Shop return interface
- A marketplace-provided return label
- The marketplace claim or replacement process
Shipping a marketplace return outside the required process may affect return or refund eligibility.
Keep the TikTok Shop order number and all return-tracking information.
After Shipping
- Reply through the existing support ticket.
- Provide the tracking number.
- Monitor the carrier’s tracking page.
- Confirm when delivery occurs.
- Allow time for the package to be received and associated with the ticket.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional information.
Delivery confirmation does not mean that inspection has been completed.

Talk2Me may need time to:
- Receive the package
- Match it to the support ticket
- Verify the included equipment
- Inspect the product
- Reproduce the reported problem
- Review warranty or return eligibility
- Test charging, SIM, or platform functions
- Prepare a repair, replacement, or refund decision
Important updates will be provided through the existing support ticket.
Do not open a duplicate ticket solely because the carrier shows the package as delivered.
