Use Account Selection to choose your assigned Talk2Me platform and Group List to choose who hears your PoC transmission. These choices are separate from the installed cellular SIM.
In this guide
Choose the assigned PoC account
- Open Green > POC Setting > 8 Account Selection.
- Highlight the assigned IMEI1 or IMEI2 account and press Green.
- Wait for the account to connect. Confirm the account and group shown on the home screen.
- Select the intended group before transmitting. PRS is generally selected at shipment, but assignments can differ.
One SIM, separate platform accounts
This is a single-SIM radio. Keep SIM Select on 1 and Auto SIM Switch Off. IMEI1/IMEI2 in Account Selection choose PoC accounts; they do not select two physical SIM cards.
Select a group and use PoC
- With the shipping key assignments, press P1 / Left arrow to open Group.
- Open Group List, highlight the intended assigned group, and press Green.
- Check the group name on the main screen.
- Hold the top PTT to speak and release it to listen.
Create Group and Join Group are not functional in this firmware build. Use groups assigned to your network. Contact Support or your network administrator when an expected account or group is missing.
Set up and use Quick Call
- Open Green > Settings > 5 Programmable Key and assign Quick Call to a Short or Long action.
- Select the intended group in Group List and assign its group quick-call key.
- Use your assigned Quick Call action. When asked for the group quick-call key, press the key assigned to that group.
- Confirm that the PoC group name changes before using the top PTT.
P1 is Left, P2 is Right, and SK1 is the bottom PTT only while Analog PTT 2 is Off. Changing P1 or P2 assignments changes their home-screen shortcuts.
Missing groups or Offline
- Check cellular signal and whether the installed service plan is active.
- Confirm the assigned account and selected group; signal bars alone do not confirm platform access.
- Wait for registration, then restart once if needed.
- Keep SIM Select on 1 and Auto SIM Switch Off. Do not move the SIM, change APN values or factory-reset the radio as a general fix.
- Send Support the displayed account/group, exact error and requested Radio Info identifiers through the ticket.
